A profound passion for viticulture has guided Piero Mancini since 1965. Today, the estate boasts over 100 hectares of vineyards spread across various areas of Gallura. While Moscato, Cannonau, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot are cultivated here, the flagship wine remains the Vermentino di Gallura DOCG – the only DOCG appellation in Sardinia.
In 1987, Piero Mancini set out to elevate the value of his grapes by realising a long-held ambition: constructing a dedicated winery where both grape cultivation and the entire vinification and bottling processes could take place under one roof. He fulfilled this ambition in 1989, opening a modern winery overlooking the Gulf of Olbia, a place where cutting-edge oenological technology works in perfect harmony with tradition. The founder’s family has managed the business since 2001. Annual production stands at approximately 1,500,000 bottles, which are distributed throughout Sardinia, mainland Italy, and internationally. The estate employs mechanical harvesting, stainless steel vinification (12,000 hl capacity), and recently upgraded, state-of-the-art bottling facilities.
