Giuseppe Gabbas’s estate spans approximately 30 hectares – 20 of which are under vine and 5 dedicated to olive groves – situated at an altitude of between 240 and 350 metres above sea level in a valley at the foot of the Supramonte massif in the heart of Sardinia.
The area’s distinctive climate, moderated by temperate sea breezes and the proximity of the mountains, ensures excellent diurnal temperature variations, which positively influence the colour and aromatic profile of the grapes.

This fosters an ideal ecosystem for the vines, significantly reducing the need for pest control, with treatments restricted solely to traditional products. The meticulous layout of the vineyards and their modest scale facilitate viticulture of the very highest calibre. Cultivation principles such as short pruning and strict yield management are employed specifically to enhance the varietal typicity of the grapes.
The primary variety grown is Cannonau, complemented by a selection of other local grapes chosen from amongst the most compelling in Sardinia’s rich viticultural landscape.
