Cantina Fara primarily produces wine from its own vineyards, alongside the cultivation of peaches and artichokes. The estate was founded at the dawn of the 20th century in Sennori, within the historic winemaking region of Romangia in north-western Sardinia.

After more than a century of growing and selling premium grapes to winemakers across Italy, the fourth generation of the Fara family has proudly begun bottling under their own label. Cantina Fara’s current portfolio is distinguished by the clear identity of its native, locally representative grape varieties: Cannonau, Girò, Nasco, Vermentino, and Moscato. The region’s exceptionally favourable climate, abundant sunshine, saline breezes from the Gulf of Asinara, and strictly limited yields guarantee impeccably healthy fruit with a profound sense of terroir. Today, the Fara brand is distributed throughout the hospitality sector.
The winery’s commercial strategy focuses on expanding its presence both domestically and internationally, seeking to establish enduring partnerships with specialist distributors who appreciate wines from highly prestigious appellations.
