Montespada spans approximately 40 hectares of vineyards dedicated to Vermentino di Gallura. Since 1996, its flagship wine has proudly borne the prestigious DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) classification (previously classified as DOC).

The estate’s remaining land is planted with Carignano, thriving in the driest and most infertile zones where the vine’s natural hardiness allows it to yield generous fruit regardless of the harsh conditions. Azienda Agricola Montespada is located in the municipality of Trinità d’Agultu in the north-eastern region of Sardinia, lying in the heart of Gallura about 20 km from Santa Teresa on the coastal road towards Castelsardo.

Perched to overlook the sea, the estate offers clear views across to the coast of Corsica from its hilltop vantage point.

The property extends for over a kilometre along the banks of the Vignola River, nestled in a valley beneath the Sierra du Cinqu Denti in the Giunchizza region.
