Iolei is a heartfelt declaration of love for Oliena and its most iconic wine: Nepente.

This family-led project unites six distinct personalities in a collective narrative, woven together by shared hands, familiar faces, and an unbreakable bond with the land. In their philosophy, Io (‘I’) represents the Puddu family, while Lei – at once ‘She’ and the formal ‘You’ in Italian – embodies the vine, the land, and the spirit of welcome.

Iolei’s wines are the result of an essential, unmanipulated winemaking approach designed to highlight the absolute purity of the grapes – most notably Vermentino and Nepente di Oliena, the legendary Cannonau famously celebrated by the poet Gabriele D’Annunzio.
