Founded in 1926, Fratelli Rau has successfully combined family tradition with advanced technology for three generations, all while maintaining a profound connection to the land. It is a land where the vineyards of Tenuta L’Ariosa have found the perfect environment to produce outstanding wines, including Vermentino, Cannonau, Cagnulari, Carignano, and Moscato Passito. It is also a land where the renowned Mirto di Sardegna IG liqueur is crafted from hand-picked berries of wild-growing myrtle. Here, premium grape pomace and native botanicals are artisanally steam-distilled in small copper stills, creating exquisite grappas and gins defined by the distinctive aromas and flavours of authentic Sardinian fruit.
The wider portfolio features both red and white Mirto di Sardegna, alongside a selection of liqueurs, bitters, aperitifs, single-varietal grappas, grape spirits, and Gin Genesi. By employing artisanal copper-still distillation for their carefully selected pomace, wild myrtle berries, and native fruits, the estate captures and expresses the truest scents and flavours of Sardinia.
