Pedra Niedda Tenute is a boutique wine estate comprising just 1.5 hectares of vineyards – one hectare dedicated to Semidano and half a hectare to Cannonau – alongside an olive grove and an almond orchard. Production is exclusively focused on premium wine and olive oil, currently offering two distinct labels: Basca (Cannonau di Sardegna DOC) and Tittia (Semidano Superiore di Sardegna DOC).

This youthful enterprise began almost as a gamble, swiftly becoming a reality through the dedication of Enrico, a Tuscan wine enthusiast, and Susanna, a native Sardinian. After several years living abroad, they returned to Italy to reclaim her family’s land, which had lain uncultivated for years.

Situated in Villa Verde (Alta Marmilla) on the slopes of Monte Arci, the scenery is truly breathtaking. The volcanic soils nourishing the vines are rich in phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium – ideal conditions for crafting high-quality wines. Historically shaped by intermediate lava flows that cooled to form dark, shallow soils rich in obsidian, the vineyards are today managed using strictly organic methods.
